Go out and spend the day on a tropical island?  Why not?  La Isla Tortuga (Turtle Island) is about 45 minutes from Tambor by boat. Trips include a stop for snorkeling (equipment is provided), a great BBQ for lunch (you won't believe the taste of the barbecued fish!) and a few hours to kick back and enjoy the white sand beach.  Ice cold beer comes with the deal.

Most of the island is off limits to tourists, as it is a nature preserve.  Don't know what this pig-like creature is but he seemed to have developed a taste for beer.

Don't know for sure but suspect you'd be wise not to put your fingers too close to this fellow's beak if you're giving him a snack!
